🚀 Eugene Cernan (BS electrical engineering ’56) was the most recent person to walk on the #moon. His historic #Apollo17 mission lifted off 51 years ago today. 

Former #Purdue President Mitch Daniels called him “a true hero, a pioneer in aviation and, to us, one of the greatest Boilermakers of all time.”
